Run, Run
Poem — Daily Poetry for The Master of Works #57

Run, run till it’s done,
Lease of hours at dawn begun,
Throbbing cares that breath entails
By tangled web of surrounding lives,
All to appease some nameless hunger
By mind forgotten, that soul doth remember;
Run, run the cycles of time,
Till is found the mystic rhyme,
Tarry not, pause not till it’s won
The prize unknown or flag-less close of thy run.
