Hail Aditi

Hail Aditi

Sonnet

Lo She comes and how scatter ancient gloom,
Like a young radiant sun disperses dew
That infests the heart with its frosty clime,
But now they flee in her dawn’s purview.

Lo She come, empress of all the hemispheres,
Garlanded by innumerable glories resplendent,
The primordial transcendent womb of our suns,
Of all swaying powers chiefmost and ancient.

Lo She comes, annulling the fruitless trysts,
And to wed our acts into a perfect harmony,
Banished the inabilities and corroding doubts,
For She knows all paths and governs their destiny.

Hail Aditi, Power Primordial, heart of the Eternal,
May we serve Thee in the turns of every cycle.
