All The Summoners

I am Thy summoner at the birth of dawn,
Sparking birdsong upon verdant trees,
Lighting incense upon rich-hued flowers
To herald Thy march upon the arc of morn.

I am Thy summoner at the birth of dusk,
The twilight bridge I keep dimly lit
For life’s return to safety’s nest,
The feathered and limbed, the proud and meek.

I am Thy summoner at the birth of night,
In all alleys and thickets sounds Thy name
Borne upon my chanting lips like a flame,
I bear Thy banner till the abyss’ pit.

I am all the summoners in this Thy world,
I have held all Thy decrees for Thee to behold.
