Sonnet — An Invocation to The Master #248
O keeper of silences, guardian of our havens,
Lofty are thy reprieves, above the press of days,
Seasons of solitudes for the soul to feel
In stark contrast to the earthly pell mell.
A slow hymnal of poignant notes is birthed
From heart’s sanctum and by mind heard,
A sacred expectancy holds calm vigil
For the veils to fall and the Deity to reveal.
All becoming now aligns to Yagña’s grooves,
The occult sacrifice now unobstructed moves,
Now but remains Time’s necessary agency
When all must ripen by Thy celestial ray.
By Thee the great threshold shall be crossed,
By a soul-fruition my clod shall meet its God.
