Submission

A Sonnet

These members are now at war
Assiduously wake every old scar.
The ego dons its hideous mask
Stubbornly refuses every task.

All around the clash and din
Only a confusion reigns within.
Where now the flame and voice
That led action by simple choice?

The lure of choice is an illusion
That misleads the self to confusion.
All thought and will must yield
To the Higher that is thy shield.

Shed the sheath, turn to Her within
By submission shall the Yoga begin.
