Mother Paramé
Sonnet
How did this come to be?
The many impulses that cocooned me,
Have been sifted as through a sieve
Stand in relief now, yield a reprieve.
Painting by Preti Ghosh
Each strengthening each they were
My house a prison, my kingdom bare.
All I gathered have now fallen away
Into my prolonged night enters a lone ray.
This seems the hour it would turn
The ray grow and these assailants burn.
A hidden will seemed to work for this period
Behind and beyond formula and coded method.
It is She of the Veda, Aditi and Mother Paramé
Am Her infant now, beyond care come what may!
