These Efforts

These Efforts
I wring my heart, listen with eager ears
Invoke muses and their desired favours.
For I wish to craft a jewel of words
To be offered to the Lord of Worlds.
But all I stitch and cobble together
Seems a pell-mell, in every merit poor.
Many are the worlds am yet to cross
Am yet at the base, hobbled by dross.
I need better limbs and a mind of light
To speak of Him, who shapes all sight.
A day would come and I would truly see
The impeller of these efforts was ever not me.
