Sacred Geography

Sacred Geography

Our thoughts are as a gambler’s throw
Juggling and desiring, only a few hits to show.
Too high Nature’s ways, only a sliver we possess
Too proud to dig, too shallow for Her process.

We wallow in hope and waggle in vain
Refuse the Hand, only to err again.
But sometimes a method does appear
That calms all being and dispels all fear.

What use mind in this sacred geography,
All that works is the Master and his philosophy!
