In Him I Drown

In Him I Drown
Assemble O Poets and wordsmiths
Craft your wares, forge your thoughts.
Water your dreams, gaze upon stars
Glean from tomes, affairs of men and their wars.
Only to some is the void and yoke,
The garb of penury and forever broke.
All is mute, all around the night
No bannermen beside, only the lone will to fight.
See now what His will has wrought
Not by this ego but what Grace has brought.
My pride is dead, my self disappears
In Him I drown and disown all tears.
