OneNote 2007 on a laptop

I have had Office 12 installed on my machine for a week now. And the thing that am persistently returning too is OneNote 2007.

The little tweaks and changes have made it a much more usable product than OneNote 2003.

The Outlook integration and shared sessions has to be my favorite, amongst others.

But I have this nagging feeling am not using it as I should. Is OneNote at its native best only when used with TabletPC or its ilk? Or is it an accessory thing? I use a run of the mill optical mouse, which is not a perfect thing for writing freeform content.

My question for you, my imaginary reader, is this. Do you use OneNote on a laptop? If so, what accessories have worked for you? What do you consider the best value for money in regards to this app and your laptop? Do you juts use your mouse to draw freehand stuff, or is there anything more fancy?
